So you think you know a lot about cars? Prove it! Here is an old abandoned car we found out in the middle of the desert on my little !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! this weekend. First person to identify it wins a prize!*
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
*Full disclosure: I have no idea what the car is, so the awarding of prizes may or may not be completely arbitrary. Additionally, the prize is likely to be quite disappointing, and may or may not consist solely of a sincere congratulations and/or an internet high-five.

KnowsAboutCars seems correct. In fresher days, taillights looked like this.

Here's one that may be a little tougher, it went over the railing on the elevated section of I-55 north of New Orleans and into the swamp, lady survived! RWD , dual exhaust, maybe the shape of the oil pan will tell?

Was beat to the punch on this one. I was thinking maybe Buick, but couldn't think of any that matched the tail lights and the thickness of the vertical grille bars. Guessed Mercury as I was scrolling down to find out, and yup! There it is.

If I had to guess, I'd say Audi (VW era) or Saab.

Fram oil filter - she did the car a favor.

It has a Guibo joint, whatever it is. BMW, maybe?

Chrylser or Dodge, haven't done an oil change on one in a while or I would know for sure.

I'm pretty sure it's a BMW, and it has to be a V8, so at least a 5-er - i would say that's what it is, an E60.

Not a BMW, the oil filter would not be located under the car. Same filter placement of the (Jag based)V-8 in dad Lincoln LS, but that doesn't look anything like the Ford transmission. Later model Jaguar?

Must be a late 50s Buick. Look at all the port holes.
